AV Access Limited is part of the AV Birch group of companies. A V Birch was established in 1977 and started operations from the premises in Bridgnorth. At the beginning the company offered engineering services to the local industrial and agricultural community.

As the company developed and our experience expanded, we moved into the manufacture of all types of hydraulic presses up to 500 tonne capacity. We also have an unrivalled range of specialist presses from the general timber and timber truss industry.

Due to the excellent relationship developed with many of our clients AV Birch Ltd began to solve many other issues for our clients, ranging from the development of a fleet of mobile service engineers with superb mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problem solving skills to the design and manufacturing of access platforms, staging and other solutions to enable our clients to work more effectively and safely.

As the amount of access work grew over a period of time, it became clear that a dedicated and focused team should move this part of the Company forward, this resulted in the creation of AV Access limited.

Working within the purpose built factory that AV Birch Ltd operates we and our staff have over the years success fully worked in all the main industrial sections from Rail, Aviation, Automotive, Production Engineering, Transport and Facilities management.

We are at AV Access Limited one of the very few specialist access equipment suppliers who have an in-house design, manufacturing and installation capability. This together with our mobile service engineers and our own qualified training instructors means AV Access Limited can confidently say that we can offer the complete solution to a simple or complex project.
