The combination of the CDM regulations requiring all areas of buildings to be easily and simply maintained combined with the Working at Height Regulations requirements to prevent falls before mitigating their effects has a large number of effects. Not least of these is the practical issue of getting to the AHU on the roof or to the valves in the roof space.
