With the introduction of the Working at Height regulations in 2005 and the minor revision in 2010 the requirement to supply suitable work platforms or areas was clarified. The entire nature of working at height was identified as “Any area where a person is at risk of personal injury above or below ground”.
This can lead many customers to feel the world has gone mad, however the requirements in the Working at Height Regulations differ very little to what came before. They are however now all contained in one single document. Many access suppliers have in the recent past used the WAH regs as a scare tactic to pressure customers to purchase equipment over and above that which is required.
AV Access Limited has a range of experience all most areas of industry and have a simple yet effective philosophy. We will look to develop the most appropriate and practical solution to the issues raised by customers. We are not interested in artificially raising the level of identified risk to increase the cost of the equipment; we will give you and honest and accurate proposal to you access issues.
